Aqualyte was originally developed as a hydration solution for underground miners in 1998, and has stood the test of time in some of the harshest conditions on the planet.
An average worker can lose between 400-600ml of fluid per hour which equates to 4-6 litres over a 10 hour shift, more over a 12 hours one. This fluid needs to be replaced which is where Aqualyte comes in.
Drinking just water is not enough and in some circumstances can be dangerous as it disrupts the intra and extra cellular electrolyte balance.
Alternating between drinking water and Aqualyte will encourage workers to drink more fluid helping them stay hydrated, it replaces key electrolytes and provides some glucose to help offset fatigue which is a major cause of workplace mistakes and accidents.
